Queen Mother’s was inspired by an entry in a 17th century recipe book; this was a recipe enjoyed in the royal court of Charles I. We ferment our honey with fresh and candied ginger, lemon peel, cloves, and osmanthus blossom. We also add an extra pinch of each near the end of the winemaking process.

The timeless flavor of the Queen Mother’s is less sweet and more herbal than other meads. The complex blend of citrus, spice, floral, and fruit leads to an enjoyable yet engaging experience for the drinker.
