Mead (/ˈmiːd/; archaic and dialectal "medd"; from Old English "meodu",[1]) is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey with water, sometimes with various fruit, spices, grains, or hops.

Our meads are crafted from Texas wildflower honey sourced from a farm on the Gulf Coastal Prairies outside of Angleton, Texas. The site was chosen for its location far from sources that could affect the flavor of the honey it produces, which is nuanced and natural.

Enchanted Manor Meadery is dedicated to its community, the environment, and the overall well being of its customers. All of our meads are made on-site at the Texas Renaissance Festival from 100% Texas Wildflower Honey.

A Bit More About Us...

We got our big break when the largest Renaissance Festival in the country decided to let us be their official meadmaker. To keep up with demand, we recently opened a shiny new production building right next to our old, not-so-shiny one.

You can find our meads for sale at just about all the vendors at Ren Fest, or you can stop by our tasting room near the arena.

We think that mead should be enjoyed outside of the Ren Fest as well, and if you like our products you can find them in SPEC'S stores in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and other Texas cities and towns. Or, you can order them online and we'll ship them to you.
